The Beaver Creek Pack was confirmed as a breeding pair for 2018, but not in 2020.
In June 2018, wolf biologists captured and collared one adult female and one yearling female wolf from the family. In 2019, one wolf in the pack was legally killed by a landowner under Washington’s “caught-in-the-act” rules.
The pack was confirmed in the 2019-2020 winter count to have six members and to have successfully raised pups in 2019. In 2020, two mortalities were documented: one human-related and one attributed to harvest.
Current Numbers: 3
Pack Status: Designated in 2015
