This pack formed in 2019, when two dispersers from other packs paired up. The breeding female is a disperser from the Pine Creek Pack – she is wearing a radio collar. The breeding male is also wearing a collar, and he dispersed from the Walla Walla Pack. The pair had three pups that survived to the end of 2019, and the pack received official status in 2019.

ODFW reported that in 2020, radio-collar data showed the pack had a use area of 166 square miles; 81% of the data points were located on public lands and 19% on private lands.

Unfortunately, the breeding male did not survive to the end of 2020, so the pack was not counted as a breeding pair for the year. However, at least two pups from the Cornucopia pack survived to the end of the year.
