The Frosty Pack was designated in 2017. Its territory is on the tribal lands of the Colville Confederated Tribes, and the pack is subject to tribal, not state, management. One male wolf from the pack was collared by tribal biologists in 2017.

In each of 2017 and 2018, one pack member was killed in a legal hunt. At the end of 2018, the pack had a minimum of six wolves and was counted as a breeding pair.

At the end of 2019, the pack had a minimum of five members.

At the end of 2020, the pack had a minimum 10 confirmed members and one successful breeding pair.
